20th Annual Turkey Giveaway

Join Henrico Police Athletic League in supporting our 20th Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway, a long-standing community tradition dedicated to helping local families enjoy a warm and meaningful Thanksgiving meal. Each year, Henrico PAL distributes more than 500 frozen turkeys and Thanksgiving meal boxes to families identified through Henrico County Public Schools, Henrico County Social Services, Henrico Police Department, and Henrico County Mental Health.

Since 2007, Henrico PAL has helped provide thousands of Thanksgiving meals to families throughout the Henrico and Richmond communities, ensuring local families have support during the holiday season. This year marks an important milestone as we celebrate two decades of service and community impact.

For the first time, we are inviting businesses, organizations, and community leaders to become official Community Sponsors of this meaningful event. A $250 sponsorship directly supports the purchase and distribution of turkeys, meal boxes, and event resources while helping us continue expanding our reach to families in need.

The giveaway event takes place the Saturday before Thanksgiving at the Henrico PAL office, where volunteers come together to distribute meals and spread holiday cheer to hundreds of families across our community.
